26th March 2014
NiQ Health’s CarePlus™ message-based nurse-call system was demonstrated to delegates at HC2014, Manchester, UK by NiQ’s CEO Europe, Christian Testorf, supported by Steve Parnell of partner firm Amcom. The event is a key occasion for clinicians and health informatics professionals to hear about developments, discuss issues and learn about new products. It is presented by the British Computer Society (BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT) and HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) – a global, not-for-profit organization focused on better health through information technology (IT).
NiQ Heath was invited to participate in the “Innovation Zone” set up by techUK, the trade association for the UK technology sector.
Commenting on NiQ’s involvement in HC2014, Christian Testorf said: “This is a prestigious event and to be invited by techUK to be part of its innovation zone is a testament to the quality of our product and company. We were able to meet senior leaders from the UK health service and show them our CarePlus™ nurse call system. We already have over 500 installations of the system worldwide, particularly in Australia and Southeast Asia, and a growing number of installations of CarePlus™ in Europe. We look forward to installing the system in more settings in both the private sector and the NHS in the UK.”
